We are delighted to host the program once again and support master’s students who are interested in gaining professional experience, networking with scholars, and learning essential research skills related to equity and leadership in higher education. Applications will officially close on March 1, 2023 at 11:59 PM ET.

The Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions (CMSI) and TRIVIUM BI are proud to announce the release of a new report, “The MacKenzie Scott Donations to Hispanic Serving Institutions: Exploring the Data Landscape.” The collaborative report uses a data-driven approach to delve into Scott’s $890 million in donations to 36 Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs).

It also features spotlights on institutions that have unique and robust registered apprenticeship (RA) programs so that readers can better understand the strengths and challenges of RA at MSIs.

This week, the Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions (CMSI) will host its annual early-career faculty training program, ELEVATE (Enriching Learning, Enhancing Visibility & Training Educators) in New Brunswick, NJ. The three-day program will provide a new cohort of early-career MSI faculty with unique professional development and best practices for navigating challenges as an early-career faculty member.

The Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions (CMSI) is excited to host its third MSI Aspiring Leaders Forum from Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1, in Philadelphia, PA. The three-day forum will convene and engage prominent MSI presidents and Aspiring Leaders in the program. The collection of discussions, case studies, panels, and keynotes will cover many issues, scenarios, and events that may arise on the path to the collegiate presidency. As a result, the forum’s design will prepare the Aspiring Leaders with the exceptional skills to secure and endure the role of a president at a Minority Serving Institution (MSI).
