Andrea Rehn is Undergraduate Dean and Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Russell Sage College, which is on the verge of becoming Russell Sage University in 2027 when it completes a strategic merger with the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her portfolio includes general education, career center, advising, opportunity programs, and all

undergraduate academic programs as well as graduate and professional programs in social sciences. Prior to joining Russell Sage, she was Professor of English and Associate Dean at Whittier College, where she directed an individualized degree program and led faculty development projects that increased curricular coherence across the undergraduate curriculum with the support of more than $1.5M in grant funding.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley and a master’s and doctorate in English Language and Literature from Cornell University. Her research interests center on nineteenth-century British literature, digital humanities, and the importance of humanistic study and the liberal arts.
