Vinton Thompson

Vinton Thompson serves as President of Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY) since 2008. From 2013-2016 he carried out the largest projects in the 53-year history of the College, building, equipping and occupying new facilities in Manhattan and the Bronx.  Over the last nine years Vinton re-established MCNY’s presence in the Bronx and created five new degree programs. Under his presidency, MCNY achieved specialized accreditation in their Business and Education programs and successfully reaffirmed their primary accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
