Crystal Moore

Crystal Moore was selected as one of 14 mid-career professionals for the 2017-18 class of White House Fellows, a nonpartisan leadership and public service program. In her placement in the White House Domestic Policy Council, she initially worked on the President's Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). She also led an organizational strategy and design for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Minority Serving Institution Office. Selected nationally through a highly competitive, non-partisan process, Crystal was selected based on a record of professional achievement, evidence of leadership potential, and a proven commitment to public service.

Previously, she worked as Senior Director of Business Development for Fullbridge, Inc., a venture-backed education technology company. While there, her efforts supported the creation of online and blended-learning programs on college campuses, ensuring over 12,000 students have exposure to career readiness skills. Before Fullbridge, Crystal was a consultant for Parthenon-EY, where she advised colleges and universities, national foundations, policy organizations, and private investment firms. Her commitment to the education sector began as a ProInspire Fellow at DC Public Schools and led her to interning for the White House Domestic Policy Council's Education Policy Team in 2013.

Crystal holds degrees from Xavier University of Louisiana (B.S.) and Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business (M.B.A). She is a 40 under 40 honoree for Xavier University of Louisiana, and a recipient of the 2017 UNCF Young Alumnus of the Year Award. She serves/d as a member of the Council for Foreign Relations Term Member Program, Echoing Green Direct Impact Program, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has spoken at, written for and/or been featured by the White House, Glass Door, and TheChronicle for Higher Education. Crystal calls Washington, D.C. home, but is a proud native of Meridian, MS.
