Zachary Brown
Zachary Brown is a doctoral student in the Department of Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication at Purdue University. His current research interest is focused on underrepresented populations across agriculture. Zachary currently serves as the Program Coordinator for Mentoring@Purdue program, which focuses on improving the experiences of women and underrepresented graduate students pursuing degrees in the College of Agriculture at Purdue University. He also serves as the Program Coordinator and as a Mentor within the Bowen Scholars Program through the Black Cultural Center at Purdue. In 2018, Zachary received his M.S. in Agricultural Education from Iowa State University. While attending Iowa State, he worked as the Program Coordinator for the George Washington Carver Summer Research Internship Program and as a graduate advisor for the local Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences (MANRRS) chapter. He also holds a B.S. in Agricultural Sciences from Southern University and A&M College.
