Carmen Ye

Carmen Ye is currently a Master of Public Policy candidate at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan and a research intern at the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions for summer 2017. On campus, she is active with Students of Color in Public Policy and creating pipelines for underrepresented students into higher education. Prior to graduate school, Carmen worked in Washington, DC at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth and volunteered on the Board of Directors for the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL). While with CAPAL, Carmen recruited and managed the largest intern class in the non-profit's 25-year history. Her interests include leadership development, diversity in higher education, and identity formation among Asian Pacific Americans. Carmen is a San Francisco native and a proud graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
