Amy McCormack
Dr. Amy McCormack is Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration at Dominican University, where she has been responsible for financial and campus planning, budgeting and risk management, facilities and security operations, HR, performing arts, and auxiliary operations. She has led over $100 million in construction projects and the purchase of a satellite campus, which provided capacity to double the student enrollment during her tenure. Dominican University, located just outside Chicago, is a Hispanic Serving Institution. Amy has taught in the MBA program at Dominican University and in the Executive MBA program at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. Prior to her career at Dominican, Amy was in public accounting at Deloitte. She has presented and written articles for the National Association of College and University Business Officers and presented at the International Conference on Education. She received her B.S. in business, with a major in accounting, from Indiana University; her MBA with a a dual concentration in finance and marketing from Dominican University; and her doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation focused on internationalization on college campuses and the role of the president. Since 1997, Amy and her family have hosted over 15 international students.
