See Xiong

See Xiong is a research assistant at the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions. See finished her M.S. in Counseling with focus on Student Affairs and College Counseling from California State University, Fresno. She has experience in providing academic counseling to low-income first-generation minority students and has developed cross-cultural student programming at the collegiate level. See is resourceful when connecting students to resources on and off campus. She also has experience engaging and working with minority serving community groups and projects. Her research interests include Hmong American students in higher education: student advocacy; interaction with community and institutions; social justice, and equity around quality learning and resources; access; and preparation (college readiness, career preparation, and pipeline to graduate school).
