Juan Morales

Juan J. Morales is the son of an Ecuadorian mother and Puerto Rican father. He is the Associate Dean of the College of Humanities Arts & Social Sciences and Professor of English at Colorado State University (CSU) Pueblo, a regional comprehensive Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) in southern Colorado. In his time at CSU Pueblo, he has also served as Department Chair of English and World Languages for five years. Juan is also the author of three poetry collections, including The Handyman’s Guide to End Times, and his fourth collection is forthcoming from the University of New Mexico Press. He is a CantoMundo Fellow, a Macondo Fellow, the editor/publisher of Pilgrimage Press, regularly gives featured readings, and serves on many regional, state, and community boards to support creative writing, the humanities, and the arts.
