Edwanna Edwards

Edwanna Andrews serves as the Assistant Vice President for The Ginsburg Center for Inclusion and Community Engagement at the University of Central Florida (UCF). In this capacity, she leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing Civil Discourse and Engagement, and Access and Academic Excellence, with a central focus on fostering student success. A passionate advocate with over two decades of experience, Andrews has devoted her higher education career to fostering a sense of belonging and connectedness within diverse student populations. All to help students achieve academic and personal success. At UCF, Andrews has held several inaugural leadership roles, where she has spearheaded transformative initiatives designed to enhance the student experience through purposeful action and sustainable impact. Her teaching portfolio includes undergraduate courses in strategies for student success, sociology, leadership studies, and social justice, integrating academic rigor with her dedication to accessing higher education. Andrews’ professional contributions extend beyond UCF. She serves as the Vice Chair of the National Advisory Council for the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, actively contributes to the ACPA Convention Planning Committee, and is a City of Orlando Mayor’s MLK Commission member. She is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., reflecting her lifelong commitment to service and community engagement.
