Curtis Proctor

Curtis Proctor is a three-time graduate of the University of Central Florida earning a B.S. in Athletic Training, M.A. in Educational Leadership K-12 and Ed.D. in Higher Education and Policy Studies. He earned his Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credentials in 2017.

Currently, Curtis serves as the Associate Director for Advancement at the University of Central Florida College of Community Innovation and Education where he is responsible for leading the Office of Development in securing restricted and unrestricted resources to ‘Create a Culture of Philanthropy.’ As the chief advancement officer for the college, he leads fundraising efforts to identify, cultivate, steward and secure relationships with community and corporate partners.

In addition to serving as a fundraising officer, Curtis is an adjunct professor in the School of Public Administration Non-Profit Management Program. He has also spent multiple years as a faculty member at Bethune-Cookman University as well as Orange and Volusia County Public Schools. The combination of his teaching and development experience informs his desire to make Higher Education accessible for all and reaffirms his commitment to the fundraising efforts that make this possible.
