Clarissa Campos

Clarissa Campos is currently working on her B.A in Sociology at California State University, Northridge. Her research interests include education, racial capitalism, globalization, intersectionality, race and ethnic studies, immigration, intergenerational trauma, social activism, and public policy. Clarissa is a first-generation Latina college student who is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. She has a background that calls for the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with families from different socio-cultural and economic backgrounds. With less than 1% of the professoriate population being Latinas, she hopes to add diversity and pave the way for future Latina scholars.
