Ahmed Ali

Ahmed Ali is a first-generation immigrant from Khartoum, Sudan and also a first-generation college student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Business Information Technology. Upon graduation, he aspires to work in the IoT (Internet of Things) space. He has completed internships at Cisco Systems and Tesla in Silicon Valley. He is also an active member of the NAACP, National Society of Black Engineers, Association for Computing Machinery, and Men on The Move. Outside of exploring the potential of smart networks, he enjoys playing soccer, traveling with family, giving back to his community, and a good game of chess. He is honored to be a Mary Pleasant Ellen Entrepreneurship Fellow and hopes that the fellowship will provide him with the opportunity to further improve his leadership and communication skills.
