Aaron Uranga
Aaron Uranga is a fourth-year student at Florida International University double majoring in International Relations and Political Science with two certificates in German Language and Culture and European and Eurasian Studies. Wanting to be a lawyer for the majority of his life, a trip to Germany and a variety of European and International Relations classes sparked a love for teaching and for international affairs. A passion for German politics and culture combined with an interest in security studies and international relations has led him to research how the current political parties are using securitization and the speech act to gain popularity and advance their own political goals in order to gain political power in the upcoming German federal election that will occur in 2021. He hopes that his personal experiences and knowledge will help to offer a different look at European politics and international relations.
