Michele Coyne

Program Coordinator

Michele Coyne is the Program Coordinator at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Institute for Leadership, Equity, and Justice and the Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions. In her current role, she is performing administrative functions by providing general office support to the Director of Programs and Communications, as well as the Executive Director, and operations team.  Michele comes to us most recently from Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences where she supported the Entomology’s Pest Management Office.  Michele is most proud of her role as Program Assistant with Rutgers Against Hunger Adopt-A-Family Program which she held in 2019.  She coordinated the efforts of approximately 200 volunteer university sponsors along with local social service agencies to provide over 250 families in need with basics such as food, clothing, and toys for the holidays.  Michele looks forward to utilizing her skills and experience to contribute to both the Institute and the Center.
