Samuel D. Museus

Samuel D. Museus is Associate Professor of Higher Education and Director of the Culturally Engaging Campus Environments (CECE) Project at the University of Denver (DU). He has produced over 100 publications and national conference presentations focused on understanding the racial, cultural, and structural factors that affect the experiences and outcomes of diverse populations in higher education. These include articles in the Harvard Educational Review, Journal of College Student Development, Journal of Higher Education, Review of Higher Education, and Teachers College Record. His books include Conducting Research on Asian Americans in Higher Education (2009), Creating Campus Cultures: Fostering Success among Racially Diverse Student Populations (with Uma M. Jayakumar, 2012), Asian American Students in Higher Education (2013). He has received several national awards for his scholarship, including the Early Career Award from the Association for the Study of Higher Education in 2011 and the NASPA George D. Kuh Outstanding Contribution to Literature and Research Award in 2014.
